Wolcott WTP Engine Generator Facilities
Kansas City, KS
Crossland Heavy Contractors completed this $9 Million Generator Facility Building in Kansas City, Kansas. The project consisted of three new 2500 kW natural gas generators as well as the piping, ventilation systems, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work necessary for a new and fully functional generation facility. The project included 1,200 cubic yards of concrete. This Generator Facility Building can provide enough power to run the entire Water Treatment Plant around the clock. For the community, this means they can have peace of mind that even in the case of a power outage from a weather event or other utility issue, they will still have reliable access to clean water.
