The new 40,000 square foot project had a budget of 4.9 million dollars and is located on the east side of the University of Arkansas Community College Batesville campus. Built to house well over 300 UACCB allied health students, the facility also accommodates 10 other, non-allied health, general education classes.
The Nursing and Allied Health Building was the first two-story building on campus and included seven classrooms, a 200 seat lecture hall, four clinical labs, and faculty offices. The NAH Building also includes two computerized testing centers. Nursing students now have the opportunity to practice the required National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nursing.
