What started as a fairly straightforward, $200,000.00 remodel of the 18,500 square foot 6th floor west wing of Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma took a dramatic turn when the initial project walk-through with the Owner prompted their consideration of additional unit improvements – to the tune of $3.5 million. In a matter of days, the three week schedule became a fast-track 16 week schedule updating the entire space including exterior windows.
The entire project took place in an occupied healthcare facility, creating increased patient risk and requiring meticulous infectious control efforts. Crossland crews came together to do what we do best – meet difficult challenges with innovative solutions. Despite many challenges, Crossland delivered the project to Saint Francis on time and on budget.
This project was honored as a winner of the 2018 Excellence in Construction Award through the Associated Builders and Contractors organization.
