Hochatown Offsite Improvements
Hochatown, OK
The Hochatown Offsite Improvements project consisted of four separate projects under one CMAR contract to support Choctaw Nation’s new resort Choctaw Landing. Choctaw Nation elected to split the project into three pieces for funding and phasing purposes, and CHC accommodated that request with a three-phase GMP approach. Our Pre-Construction Team developed multiple target prices for each of the three GMPs and created a phasing plan which would expedite construction as much as possible. The four projects were a 4000 SF Facility Maintenance building, 100 KGD wastewater treatment plant, approximately 1 mile of ODOT Highway widening, and the installation of a 28 MVA substation. This major undertaking has provided critical infrastructure for the resort as well as vital economic development for southeastern Oklahoma. Our phased approach, as well as consistent collaboration among all parties set our CMAR team up for an early completion – by over 4 and a half months!
