In 2021, Leavenworth, Kansas, introduced a high-quality childcare center catering to the families of soldiers stationed at Fort Leavenworth.
Part of an international Montessori school network under Higher Ground Education, Guidepost Leavenworth offers care for children ages 12 weeks to 6 years. Collaborating with Child Care Aware of America, the school enhances program accessibility for military families stationed in Leavenworth.
Completed in July 2021, the $2.7 million, 8,600 SF facility features exterior finishes of stone wainscoting and an Exterior Insulation Finishing System. The concrete footing and slab were self-performed by Crossland’s in-house concrete crew.
