Gates of Prosper Phase 2
Prosper Keeps Prospering!
Prosper, TX
If ever a city had a perfect name, Prosper, Texas, may be it.
One of the fastest-growing small towns in America, Prosper is becoming a go-to destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. A major part of that growth and buzz is the Gates of Prosper development, a huge collection of retail and restaurant options.
In August 2021, Crossland completed a $38 million project at Gates of Prosper that covered nearly 180,000 SF with over nine buildings.
Using tilt wall, steel structure, masonry, painted exteriors, and metal accent panels, Crossland constructed nine building shells to be utilized for retail and dining tenants, as well as four additional building pads.
Crossland also provided a small splash pad with turf for public use near one of the restaurant spaces.
The pandemic posed unique challenges throughout the project, as it did for construction projects everywhere. Crossland made strategic modifications to daily processes and was able to keep crews working through the pandemic while also caring for the health of everyone involved.
Crossland implemented check-ins for all employees, spot health checks, additional sanitation facilities, and virtual meetings with our clients and design teams. Supply chain issues and worker shortages caused several challenges, but meeting deadlines was incredibly important because of the project’s scale. In order for tenants to move in as quickly as possible, Crossland constructed the development park in phases, allowing each tenant to move in as one space was completed.
The Gates of Prosper development project was a successful addition to the Prosper community.
