Centennial Park Improvements
An impressive mountain biking community epicenter for Fayetteville residents & visitors
Fayetteville, AR
The City of Fayetteville chose Crossland Heavy Contractors to build Centennial Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The new cycling-focused park has state-of-the-art cyclo-cross and mountain biking facilities. Residents will be able to access trail infrastructure unlike any other in the region within an area of preserved greenspace connected to neighborhoods, Fayetteville’s existing 45 miles of shared-use paved trails, and 38 miles of natural-surface trails.
The City is developing the park for all residents to experience unique biking experiences and training opportunities. It will also attract visitors to the region, creating a positive economic impact. In February 2019, the City received notification that Fayetteville was selected to host the prestigious 2022 Cyclo-Cross World Championships. The event will bring visitors and riders from all over the world to enjoy the park and everything that Fayetteville offers.
Our team constructed over 2,000 linear feet of main entrance roadways, over 3,600 linear feet of emergency access roads, an 89 parking space parking lot, a main entrance loop, a plaza complete with 540 SF of bathroom facilities, sidewalks, a water main extension, detention ponds, tree preservation, and landscaping.
We’re excited to be a part of this park project that will bring economic prosperity and joy to NWA residents for years to come.
