The City of Broken Arrow awarded Crossland Heavy the $57 million contract for their wastewater treatment plant. The project included a major renovation to the existing facility that increased the city’s capacity to 20 million gallons daily. The water treatment plant uses a micro filtration membrane technology to filter its water. This is the largest filtration system of its kind in the state of Oklahoma. Crossland Heavy Contractors self-performed 65% of the contract value, including 12,000 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete, 10 miles of yard piping with pipe diameters of 66 inches, and installation of all process equipment. The project was delivered in just over two years.
