Crossland Realty Group and Crossland Construction Partner with Wichita State University to Bring New Businesses to their Innovation Campus
| 2 minute read
Over the years, Crossland has had the privilege to partner with Wichita State University to help bring the late President John Bardo’s vision for the Innovation Campus to life. The implementation of his vision has included 10+ full-service developments comprised of financing, design & construction of the facilities, and leasing & property management; the most recent projects include the NetApp, The Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms, and Deloitte Smart Factory.
Another notable development in recent years was the Braeburn Square retail complex. And now, Crossland Construction is excited to perform the infill construction on three new restaurants and a new store in the center. Crossland Realty Group has successfully signed Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Two Hands Korean Corn Dogs, and the Pedego Wichita Electric Bike Shop as tenants in the development.
The new dining options will be a welcome addition to the existing tenants, which include Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Social Tap Drinkery, Sungrano Pizza, Wheatly’s, Meritrust Credit Union, and the Shocker Store. The new businesses will offer students and business tenants even more choices for dining and shopping on campus.
“We’re proud to be a part of bringing new businesses to the Innovation Campus,” Mattie Crossland, Director of Crossland Realty Group, said. “Our partnership with Wichita State University and The Wichita State Innovation Alliance has been instrumental in making this happen, and we look forward to continuing to work together to support the growth and success of this vibrant University and its greater community.”
The partnership between Crossland and Wichita State University is a testament to the power of collaboration and the positive impact that businesses and educational institutions can have when they work together. Crossland’s commitment to impacting communities through the development, construction, and management of quality facilities, coupled with Wichita State’s commitment to innovation and excellence, has created a dynamic environment that is attracting new businesses and helping to drive economic growth in the region.
As the development continues to evolve and new opportunities on the horizon, the future looks bright for the Innovation Campus and the surrounding area.
The development at Wichita State University Innovation Campus was completed in conjunction with the partners of MWCB LLC & SRB Development.
