On November 2nd, our Crossland Heavy Kansas City team proudly attended the ABC Heart of America Awards banquet, marking a night of well-deserved recognition and pride. We’re thrilled to announce that our Eudora Main LS & FM Improvements project secured the 2023 Excellence in Construction award in the Public Works/Environmental category.
But that’s not the only feather in our cap – our successes go beyond project excellence. The Crossland Heavy Kansas City Division was honored with the prestigious 2023 Chapter Safety Award, a clear testament to our unwavering dedication to safety. Adding to our accolades, we were also presented with the STEP (Safety Training and Evaluation Process) Platinum award for our continuous safety efforts, the highest recognition in safety.
It’s worth noting that the STEP program, which we proudly adhere to, provides a systematic approach to analyzing and developing safety and loss prevention programs. This comprehensive evaluation incorporates both OSHA-required safety data and self-assessment requirements, offering a thorough overview of our safety program.
This remarkable recognition speaks volumes about the hard work and commitment of each crew member who contributed to these projects. We take immense pride in their achievements and, above all, in their dedication to maintaining a safe working environment.
