Crossland Construction Receives Associated General Contractor's Awards
Awards
8 February, 2018
Tulsa, Oklahoma – Crossland Construction took home three Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Oklahoma Build Oklahoma awards for projects completed in 2017. AGC’s program recognizes the “Best of the Best” commercial industrial building projects in the state of Oklahoma.
Capital One Eastgate Metroplex
Crossland Construction received an award for our Capital One Eastgate Metroplex project in the Commercial $5-$10 Million category. Our Broken Arrow Timber Ridge Elementary School won in the Education $10-$20 Million category, and Jenks Northwest Elementary School won in the Education $20-$50 Million category.
The Capital One Eastgate Metroplex project consisted of a 90,000 square foot shell space renovation, which created a 600+ seat call center for the company with two breakrooms, a micro-market, and numerous training/breakout spaces.
Broken Arrow Timber Ridge Elementary
The Broken Arrow Timber Ridge Elementary School has 91,100 square feet of bright colors, and a centralized theme of “Learning To Grow,” with custom features including a lobby with a custom-designed, large, wood laminate tree, a cafeteria, a media center, a kitchen, a gymnasium, administrative offices, classrooms, and playgrounds.
Jenks Northwest Elementary School
The Jenks Northwest Elementary School is the first new, stand-alone campus in the district in 25 years. With a capacity of 1000+ students, the 160,000 square foot building sits on a heavily wooded and sloped site. As a result, Northwest Elementary became a three story building. The various classroom wings are color-themed to indicate grade level, and each class has a sink basin/drinking fountain unit to maximize space and reduce class disruption.
We want to congratulate our Tulsa Team and the entire project teams on all three of these remarkable projects.
