Crossland Construction Welcomes New COO

Columbus, Kansas – Crossland Construction Company has announced their selection for Chief Operating Officer, Business Operations, Mr. John Cross. With years of experience in steel manufacturing and supply chain management, both domestic and abroad, John comes to us from his previous position as President/Chief Executive Officer of Steelscape in Kalama, Washington. “I’m thrilled to be a part of the Crossland team. Simply stated, they define construction excellence in every facet of the industry. I’m looking forward to being a part of their future and their legacy,” said Cross.
 
Mr. Cross earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas in 1984. Since that time, he has amassed extensive knowledge in strategic planning, team development, contract negotiations, cost control, and corporate governance. In his role as Crossland’s COO, John will provide leadership, management, and vision to the company’s daily operations. “We are excited to bring Mr. Cross on board. Crossland Companies has experienced significant growth. As we expand our territories and construction footprint, we anticipate ongoing success, and eagerly anticipate his contributions to achieving our short and long term financial and operational goals,” said Jill Brennan, Crossland’s Director of Human Resources.

Crossland did a great job in meeting the unique design criteria of the project.  They executed the construction in a timely fashion with a high level of quality.  They communicated effectively with the subcontractors and multiple owners, tenants, and other third party representatives to keep everyone on the same page and the project moving smoothly.
